Clint Dempsey, captain of the US National Soccer Team, has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with EA SPORTS in a partnership which sees him appointed as an EA SPORTS Football Ambassador and feature in advertising for the brand.

Dempsey, who played for Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham before moving to the Seattle Sounders last month, said 'It's awesome to partner with the team to continue the great work they've already been doing'.
